Vestax VCI-300 w/ Serato Itch

Since, i havent bought any new dj gear in a couple years, the last being my macbook, i wanted to look into something to buy. I had talked to the homie Ever-Ed-E in LA and he had told me about the Vestax VCI-300 midi controller with Serato Itch. I decided to check out some vids on youtube about it, and also talk to some people who owned one. Essentially, ITCH is a new program from Serato that works like Scratch Live and uses your existing crates. Allthough I would like for it to run Scratch Live, Itch isnt that far from it.

The VCI-300 is about the size of a 17" laptop, and almost as thin, if it wasn't for the buttons and faders. It has 2 channels with cdj-like dials that you can adjust, and 1 through channel for like an ipod. It has a alot of dope add-ons, like key lock, looping, auto-loop, and pitch shift. This device is perfect for those gigs where you're hesitant to do it because you need to bring equipment. Besides sound (speakers, amp), the only thing you need to bring is your laptop, the vci-300, headphones, and any wires you need. Everything is plug-and-play. Pretty dope.

Here's a video of Deeznotes using the VCI-300
(i still need to practice on it ha ha)
